The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor
By: Robert Kirkman & Jay Bonansinga
Why did you choose this particular book?
I decided to read this particular book because of the amazing comics and the awesome TV show based on the Zombie Apocalypse. The main reason though is that the governor is one of the biggest evil characters on the show. his back story and why he is crazy is supposed to be described in this so i read the first third and it seems like it does describe a lot about the book.Your first impressions of the story?
Well i thought this book would be a real bummer but after reading the the first third it is amazing. Within the first third there already been thrills, deaths, and a lot of fighting. Within the first three pages there was already killing zombies and a bloody mess. However what makes this better is the fact that there is a character that has to protect a young girl named penny because he, aka Brian Blake, is a wuss and because of this he has to help penny. I think this book is a great read and i can't put it down!
A prediction of a future event in the story?
The characters want to head to Atlanta so this can go good or bad and since the bad has happened and won't stop, i can just assume it will get worse. Hordes of zombies, looters, no shelter, food, or water. I can assume that this may happen to the group in a big city during the zombie apocalypse.
